Get to know Victoria

As a counselor, I believe the relationship between therapist and client is everything. Feeling comfortable, understood, and connected with your therapist is vital—and research shows that this connection is the strongest predictor of successful counseling.

That’s why I provide counseling rooted in authentic relationship and empathic connection. My goal is for every client to feel supported and comforted, knowing that, just like you, I am human.

Now for the boring details...

I graduated from the CACREP-accredited Counseling program at the University of North Texas in 2022. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC) in Colorado. Additionally, I am a Certified Perinatal Mental Health Professional (PMH-C), which reflects my extensive training and expertise in supporting the mental health and emotional well-being of mothers.

My primary professional focus is on perinatal and maternal mental health counseling, helping women, mothers, and families navigate pregnancy, postpartum transitions, and the many emotional complexities of motherhood with care, empathy, and clinical excellence.

My Style & Approach

At Mayflower Counseling, therapy isn’t just about mental health—it’s about your whole well-being. I care deeply about your mind, body, spirit, emotions, relationships, and daily routines. Our bodies and minds are interconnected systems, and when one area is struggling, it impacts the rest. Counseling provides a space to explore these areas and restore balance to your life.

I use an integrative, person-centered approach to counseling. This approach is grounded in strong therapeutic relationships, clinical excellence, and empathy, allowing us to connect authentically while ensuring you receive high-quality care tailored to your unique needs.

Counseling is never one-size-fits-all. Your values, lived experiences, hopes, and beliefs matter and are fully integrated into your counseling process. By personalizing interventions, skills, and techniques, we create a therapeutic plan that supports your goals and fosters meaningful growth.

Above all, my hope is that you leave each session feeling connected, understood, safe, and seen—whether you are navigating pregnancy or postpartum challenges, maternal mental health concerns, or the complexities of being human.
